During how many seconds should we wash our hands to get rid of bacterias?

Most of us wash our hands even unconsciously. When we were little our parents said to us that, after going to the toilet and before eating, we had to wash them "if we didn't want to have stomachache, because in the hands there're a lot of  microbes". But which is the correct way and the appropriate time to do it?

A scientific investigation has studied which is the minimum time to wash our hand- with soap- to eliminate all the bacterias and germs that we have.

After some experiments- washing the hands and analyzing them through a microscope- they arrived at the conclusion that the minimum time we should spend washing them is 20 seconds. That's the minimum period which we need to remove the bacterias. Doing this action less than the established time it's like doing it only with water. It's useless.

And how can you count until 20? Well, if you sing the "Happy Birthday Song" twice, it would be enough.

MY OPINION

Most of the times I wash my hands in 5 seconds because I've thought that with this time I would get rid of these undesirable germs, but now that I read this news, I will wash them more time and carefully.
